JPIA-HAU: Year-End Awards 2016

To the Agency of Leo Torres aka PBB of JPIA, with just this picture makes me feel proud and happy for you guys!!!! Heart attack!
I contributed in designing those plaques! Hehehehe pats myself, proud proud.
Quincy's voice is more of a theatrical than the usual singing voice, great great performance!

Junior Philippine Institute of Accountanct, Holy Angel University Chapter surpassed the fed. year 15-16 with its Year-End Awards themed, "Honor Unending Excellence". It was truly an honor and self-fulfilling experience to be part of such event to an organization that carries excellence not just in our school, but nationwide as well. Being part of this event, there were "rush times" and problems occurred in its preparation, but everything went through and I might call it a success after it has ended. As of now, I'm aspiring for the postition of VP for multimedia and graphics, and who knows what awaits me as an aspirant.
PS: Some photos are credited to Cabig and Coy. Thank you!

UDAYS: 2016

Shoutout to Gia for guessing right the title of this post.

Three days of free from acads and just wandering around Angeles City. Though we were stacked with so much homeworks and quizzes for the following week, we atleast tried to come and celebrate University Days with the theme, Euphoria: a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.

During the first day together with my friends (shoutout to PBB), we went out for lunch at The Cruise Buffet located along Balibago, Angeles City. And I must say, the food was reeeeally good, if I got  a chance to go back, I would. I am bit picky when it comes to food and I sometimes go for just one particular dish and I'm good but look at my plate! I got sorts, and went back to get another. We availed a student promo which costs us a little less than the regular dining so eveything was sulit!!!
See Leo's instagram post, click here.

The lunch was very good and hours later we went back to school to watch the opening of the events. Holy Angel University was filled up with variety of people coming from other schools, booths, rides, fireworks and different activities, academics and non-academics.

I see that the purpose of University Days is to gather up all the colleges to have fun and cheer for their own departments as they show what they've really got. It is more like of a party than a competions among colleges regarding academics and sports in general.

MASS DANCE
CASED

CEA

CHM

CICT

CBA
It was super fun to scream out Dars' name and cheer for him. He did a very amazing performance indeed!!!

CBA vs CEA
I am proud that I belong to College of Business and Accountancy for we won this year as Overall Champion! It was a grateful experience to cheer for my college and to swim along the waves of stress ans conflicts. As for the third year of my Udays experience, this one is the best. Let's go Dolphins!!!

Noli Me Tangere ni Dr. Jose P. Rizal

Stress all passed out when we had finally presented our own film to class. We've been shooting Noli Me Tangere barely about a month and all that kind of stuff that had pulled us on getting this project done were all down. It was all a challenge though for us, accountancy students, to put all our ideas in making this project. It was really hard, problems had occurred like stuggle in acting and internalizing roles, plus some of us has to have double-triple characters.

To be honest, there had been so much conflict within our group about how things should be done. There were scenes that requires realistic location for filming but we found ways and manage to film them with our creativity. Our film might not be perfect and well-polished for some acts that werent shown BUT we are very happy that we actually produced a short film of Rizal's famous Noli Me Tangere.

Here's the film we came up with. Disclaimer to all music and sound used in editing this film.

Straight and Brave

So it was yesterday the first time I felt how life can truly be unjust and square. It's not just me, but also my friends who got to touch this kind of situation. It was like we were not belong for just some kind of very suface reason of not taking the exam the day it was supposed to be scheduled. Guess what. It was because of an unavoidable circumstances where there were no really way of gteeting yourself to school.

The funny thing is, atmost, the person you expect to help and to understand the situation would not consider any sympathy to make us catch up on what we missed, and aslo to help us stand up. We/I was very sad and lead me to crying last night just because of stupid grades. It was hard to contain especially when asked for help but it was rejected and misunderstood to the point I'm pertaining to. Similar thinking, we felt we came to fit in but instead we got stashed by a huge sword right straight to our personality and really made us feel we were not belong.

I'm not mad because we didn't get to be showered with that huge extra points, but I am really down and sorry for the reason we didn't get any help from the person we pressume to get any. This is somewhat like, we were the suspect to the crime that we were the victims. Last night, before I slept, I just thank Lord for everything even this kind of unfortunate and upsetting settings. Atleast now we can prove that we can never be moved by any unfairness and that we can handle things straigth and brave.

I love you friends! I love MaFin.

Mr. Dela Cruz: FINAC Master

This semester feels seemed to be the most challenging and stressful one (so farrr) but we were about to make it through together with the Finac Master, Sir Amel. He's a great professor, he lights up our mood when he sees us down-headed and encourages us to study a whole or a two whole chapters in one night. He has this gut that make us move along with him in taking the subject lightly.

Last month, midterm grades were out and I was very thankful about my standing in this subject. I thought of myself, 'I should give sir a hug'.
AND THEN TODAY'S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOLS, AND TOMORROW IS THE START OF EXAMS, I GOT TO HUG HIM AFTER HAVING THIS PICTURE WITH HIM I RUSHED ONTO HIM AND SAID, 'Sir, pwede po pa-hug?' AND ALL THE WAY THROUGH, HE JUST LAUGHED. MAYBE HE FELT AWKWARD.

PE CLASS NEVER EVER

Sobs. PE has always been part of my life since the first day I attended school. Now it comes to an end, and would never have another again of those fun times and tiring moments.

On this last day, we were matched against another section where players were selected out of those who play best. Boys along with girls, it is a best of threes game.

Unfortunately, we didn't win the match. But atleast they tried their best and everyone had fun. screams
Go mga beh love you!!!!

To all teachers and classmates I had, THANK YOU!!!!

University Days 2014

January 22 - 25, 2014

Apparently we only attended the first and second day because we thought of have the Friday and Saturday as rest days. And in those two days in school, all the pictures above were mostly of what happened. I finally got the urge to try rides, but still not Ferris Wheel.
Loads of people from different schools, different places. There were many events, street dances, booths, and programs. Clashes among the Colleges, but we are named the "Overall Champion" so congrats CBA! There was even a concert of Silent Sanctuary and Parokya ni Edgar but we decided no to go, I just don't know why.
But but but...

Best days in my college life just happened. All I had was fun fun fun, hang out with my college friends and come home late. After the days, I felt where I belong, I'm in college now, I have to move on, and see my future.
LAUS DEO SEMPER
