Grateful @ 20

Just few more hours, I'd be adding up another year in my age, I'm turning 20!!!! Still can't believe  it after all. Every year, I wish to be the better version of myself. My 2016 has been really good to me, my family, friends, soul and other living things that always makes me happy. Actually for the past months, I've been very busy with life, with school, org, stress, and stuff that isn't really important yet concerns me.
To be more dramatic, it is my last moments to be a teenager!!! Soon I'll be an adult just like how the way I see my mother, to take up some responsibilities and workloads. Though I always tell myself, that in the future I have to do good in whatever I do and I have to prepare to embrace life as it how it is. I wish for peace, love and understanding to all worlds.
Being a teenager made me realize that everything is not for an instant, that I have to work hard to achieve my dreams. I would want to thank all those who got my back and straigthen up my body to pursue life and those who encourage me to experience things that never even pass my mind that I would do it. Without them, I'll be just that 7 year-old Carmela, that knows nothing about her dreams.

JPIA-HAU: Year-End Awards 2016

To the Agency of Leo Torres aka PBB of JPIA, with just this picture makes me feel proud and happy for you guys!!!! Heart attack!
I contributed in designing those plaques! Hehehehe pats myself, proud proud.
Quincy's voice is more of a theatrical than the usual singing voice, great great performance!

Junior Philippine Institute of Accountanct, Holy Angel University Chapter surpassed the fed. year 15-16 with its Year-End Awards themed, "Honor Unending Excellence". It was truly an honor and self-fulfilling experience to be part of such event to an organization that carries excellence not just in our school, but nationwide as well. Being part of this event, there were "rush times" and problems occurred in its preparation, but everything went through and I might call it a success after it has ended. As of now, I'm aspiring for the postition of VP for multimedia and graphics, and who knows what awaits me as an aspirant.
PS: Some photos are credited to Cabig and Coy. Thank you!

Sto. Tomas Apostol Parish

San Matias Parish, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga

UDAYS: 2016

Shoutout to Gia for guessing right the title of this post.

Three days of free from acads and just wandering around Angeles City. Though we were stacked with so much homeworks and quizzes for the following week, we atleast tried to come and celebrate University Days with the theme, Euphoria: a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.

During the first day together with my friends (shoutout to PBB), we went out for lunch at The Cruise Buffet located along Balibago, Angeles City. And I must say, the food was reeeeally good, if I got  a chance to go back, I would. I am bit picky when it comes to food and I sometimes go for just one particular dish and I'm good but look at my plate! I got sorts, and went back to get another. We availed a student promo which costs us a little less than the regular dining so eveything was sulit!!!
See Leo's instagram post, click here.

The lunch was very good and hours later we went back to school to watch the opening of the events. Holy Angel University was filled up with variety of people coming from other schools, booths, rides, fireworks and different activities, academics and non-academics.

I see that the purpose of University Days is to gather up all the colleges to have fun and cheer for their own departments as they show what they've really got. It is more like of a party than a competions among colleges regarding academics and sports in general.

MASS DANCE
CASED

CEA

CHM

CICT

CBA
It was super fun to scream out Dars' name and cheer for him. He did a very amazing performance indeed!!!

CBA vs CEA
I am proud that I belong to College of Business and Accountancy for we won this year as Overall Champion! It was a grateful experience to cheer for my college and to swim along the waves of stress ans conflicts. As for the third year of my Udays experience, this one is the best. Let's go Dolphins!!!

Days of 18

I'm 19!!! I actually don't know what to feel and what to think. One thing is on my mind that I'm always thankful for my family, friends and the people that surrounds me. I feel loved and cared to the things I do everyday especially in school everytime hardships were in face with me. I always treasure those moments whenever I am happy, sad and even to think about the reasons why I felt anger. Being eighteen was like entrance of adolecence and to be nineteen feels like adaptation about the learnings of how to become a better being. I appreciate every ups and downs that had made me stronger and weaker and grateful from the small things I received such as love and company that had accumulated to become big things that I carry on in my everyday life.
End of such drama, happy birthday to me!!! Thank you Lord!

2015 ♡

It is that time again to realize time went by so fast and another year is approaching. Thinking that I've only had few posts and suprised that its going to be the end of the race and prepping up for another. I am thankful to 2015 for having such a great wanders and experiences. There were so many things and happenings that may be good or bad but summing it up, I can either tell.

I wasn't supposed to be writing this post, it's just a future-me that I might disappoint myself not making effort about my 2015. There are only a number of highlights I can reckon and be thankful of (Lol, I'm so forgetful about stuff). The first is, this year I turned eighteen which I'm grateful with. Entering the age where I get to make decisions and to be independent about my actions (I just started wandering malls by myself!!!). Second is my first qualifying exam. It took me sacrificing the summer to study and without even any regrets, it turns out that result are all worth it (I hope I can make it to the next!). The third one is the The Honeymoon Tour which was super fun and an amazing experience. Together with my bestfriend, we saw Ariana perform live not on TV but live!!! (It all started with Cat Valentine). Fourth is way too emotional. It's about my family, I am beyond thankful for them, being always supportive to the things I do and for guiding me even I try things on my own. I am thankful for their safety and health to whatever they are doing as for my mother who keeps her discipline in her meds, curing herself effectively.

For the fifth and last one is for me being healthy althrough out. I wasn't hospitalized or been into serious sickness. For the past months, I decided to quit sodas without any particular reason. I've got inspiration from Aspyn Ovard for doing this and that they've actually made it for years so maybe I shall start a healthy living and cherish most of my life doing things that makes me happy.

Noli Me Tangere ni Dr. Jose P. Rizal

Stress all passed out when we had finally presented our own film to class. We've been shooting Noli Me Tangere barely about a month and all that kind of stuff that had pulled us on getting this project done were all down. It was all a challenge though for us, accountancy students, to put all our ideas in making this project. It was really hard, problems had occurred like stuggle in acting and internalizing roles, plus some of us has to have double-triple characters.

To be honest, there had been so much conflict within our group about how things should be done. There were scenes that requires realistic location for filming but we found ways and manage to film them with our creativity. Our film might not be perfect and well-polished for some acts that werent shown BUT we are very happy that we actually produced a short film of Rizal's famous Noli Me Tangere.

Here's the film we came up with. Disclaimer to all music and sound used in editing this film.
